Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waivers -
Medicaid programs providing community services to individuals specific to their health support
needs as an alternative to services provided in an institution. The Developmental Disabilities
Home and Community-Based Services Waiver is called the iBudget. This waiver provides specific
supports and services that are available to individuals.
The Individual Budgeting (iBudget) Waiver
- is a new approach to delivering Medicaid waiver services to
individuals with developmental disabilities.
The iBudget waiver is designed to make the funding process fair and equitable for all Medicaid recipients on the Developmental Disabilities waivers. It provides more opportunities for recipients to direct their own care, choosing services that matter most for their unique circumstances and flexibility to respond to changing needs.

Consumer Directed Care Plus (CDC +) - is an alternative Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver for persons enrolled to self-direct their waiver services The program provides the opportunity for individuals to improve the quality of their lives by being empowered to make choices about the supports and services that will meet their needs and to help them reach their goals independently.
