Welcome to the Florida Developmental Disabilities Resources Website
The Florida Developmental Disabilities Resources Website is a public reporting resource for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) and families living in or moving to the State of Florida. The primary purpose of this website is to help individuals/families in finding a provider who best meets their needs.
Qlarant, a certified Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), works in partnership with the State of Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). It is important to note that funding for Qlarant does not reduce the amount of money APD has for services or the amount of services an individual may receive.
A primary goal in the Florida service delivery system is to improve the quality of supports and services for Florida citizens with IDD. The values supported and actively promoted within the system are:
Provider performance information is available for providers who have received a “Provider Discovery Review (PDR)” from Qlarant and have billed for iBudget Waiver services within the past 12 months. Performance scores reflect waiver rule compliance and person-centered practices based upon the number of standards reviewed during the Provider Discovery Review. Visit Visit www.florida.qlarant.com for a description of the review process.
Basic information about all providers who have billed for iBudget Waiver services within the previous 12 months is also available even if the provider has not yet had a review. This provider search information includes provider name, address, telephone number, and services rendered for the APD Regions where the provider operates. Please note that while a provider address may be in a specific county, they may render in additional counties in the APD Region and therefore contacting the provider will give an idea of their overall service area.
